Day 1 - You arrive in Costa Rica where you will be met at the airport by Costa Rica Outdoors. We will then take you to the Best Western Irazu Hotel, conveniently located in the San Jose area and offering two restaurants, a bar, pool, casino, gym and spa, and more. You will have a standard double room and breakfasts are included.
Day 2 - Transported to the airport in the early morning for the 30-minute flight to Barra Colorado. You will be met on arrival and go next door to the Rio Colorado Lodge. Breakfast will be ready; your boat rigged and guide waiting. After breakfast, fish all day on a 23-foot center console with guide. You return to the lodge about noon for a lunch and a rest before going out again in the afternoon until suppertime. This is an internationally-known fishing lodge, famous for the tarpon and snook taken there including three IGFA world record Atlantic snook. All your meals are included.
Day 3 – Fish all day, as on Day 2.
Day 4 – In the morning you will be transferred back to the airport for your in-country flight back to San Jose. You will be met and taken back to the Best Western Irazu where you will have a standard double room, as on your arrival. Your day is free in San Jose. Spend you day exploring the shops, parks and museums that dot this cosmopolitan Central American capital. Your evening is free to enjoy a nice dinner, do some salsa dancing or try your luck at the black jack tables.
Day 5 - Picked up at the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight home.
